This was announced by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vinnytsky during a speech in Yaremche.
According to the official, it is about students aged 18 to 22 years of age studying in a bachelor. “There is a significant part of the guys, which is 15-17% of those who went to academic mobility and did not return on time.
This is not a critical figure to cancel the opportunities for departure, ”Vinnytsky said. He also stressed that the situation has not yet causes serious concern, but is anxious.
The Deputy Minister stressed that the level of return of students depends on a particular university. In some higher education institutions, almost all students return after completion of exchange programs, while in others this figure is much lower.
In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Science plans to contact the rectors of universities involved in academic mobility programs, including Erasmus.
“We will recommend their commissions more carefully select students to participate in such programs”, – Vinnytsky added.
We will remind, the commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky stated that the current pace of mobilization does not close the needs of the army.
We have already reported that the new Cabinet resolution, the procedure for granting a delay from the call contains the provisions that students and teachers receive it by the end of the school year. The Ministry of Education assured that in the summer no one will mobilize these categories, and the contradiction will be corrected in the document.
