A 16-year-old American tennis player has not yet given a single set

Young American Juliet Pareha reached the quarterfinals”, – WRITE: Sport.ua

16-year-old American tennis player Juliet Pareh (WTA 550) became the main sensation of the soil tournament Wta 250 in BogotColumbia.

Having received a Wild Card to participate in a qualifying round, the young American has already reached the quarterfinals. This achievement has made her the youngest tennis player that has reached this stage at WTA Tour tournaments since 2021.

In four matches played at the tournament, Parehi did not give any set rivals. On the way to the 1/4 finals, Juliet won: WTA 246 from Canada, Eve Vedder (WTA 270) from the Netherlands, Columbia peer Maria Sanchez (WTA 1259) and Romanian Patricia Maria Tsyg (WTA 243).

In the quarterfinals Juliet Pareh will meet with Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjan (WTA 116). It will be the first match between tennis players.

All the participants of the quarterfinals were determined at the tournament.
