One of the largest Ukrainian mobile operators “Kyivstar” and the VEON group reported the signing of the Agreement on the purchase of 97% of the UKLON IT company. About it reports “Economic Truth”.

Investment in UKlon for Kyivstar is a logical step in the development of an integrated digital ecosystem, as well as an important stage in business growth and scale.
– We hope that this agreement will be an important signal for Ukrainian and international investors who are ready to join the country. We combine our efforts to strengthen each other and create even more powerful services together. We plan to close the agreement this April, – the company said on Facebook.
After signing the Kyivstar and Uklon agreement, they will remain separate businesses, and the CEO UKlon team will continue to work on the development of the company’s products and services in Ukraine and in other markets.

I am sure that with the support of Kyivstar, Uklon will receive additional opportunities and examination to further improve our service and products to give even more value to all our users and partners, – said UKLON co -founder Dmitry Dubrovsky.
It is noted that the closure of the agreement is planned for April 2025 after fulfilling the standard conditions. Kyivstar does not disclose the amount of the agreement. According to Scroll.Media, citing its own sources, Kyivstar purchases Uklon for $ 155.2 million.
- On February 6, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed Kyivstar to purchase a UKlon controlling stake. At the meeting of the AMCU “Kyivstar”, they were allowed to gain control of Uklon Ltd, as well as Techklon LLC, “Wizard Corporeth” and “Vizlo Ukraine”.
- On January 24, the AMCU reported that Kyivstar applied for the purchase of Uklon in December 2024. The operator noted that he seeks to expand his activities beyond the usual communication services and scale business.
