The national team of Ukraine on June 7 and 10 will play against the national teams of Canada and New Zealand as part of the Canadian Shield tournament. Control meetings will take place in Toronto.
UAF President Andriy Shevchenko told details of the invitation to the tournament.
“I thank the Canadian Football Association for invitation. I am sure that future matches will be an important sports and social event for our countries. Ukrainians in Canada have always supported our team in duels around the world, now it’s time for us to visit them. Canada is a country friendly to us, and we gladly accepted the invitation. ”
“We prepare not only matches, but also social and charitable activity”, – Shevchenko.
Canada, the US and Mexico will be accepted by the 2026 World Cup.
