The incident happened on March 19, at about 07:00, during the patrol of the city of Kremenchuk. The patrol police and RTC servicemen saw a suspicious passerby.
“When trying to check the documents, the man fired at the military, causing him a leg injury,” the message reads.
Patrol officers detained a man and assisted the wounded, and did not hospitalize.
“The police investigation team, which arrived on the call, found that the offender was a local resident in 1977,” the police added.
The traumatic weapons have already been seized, and the circumstances and causes of the incident find out the investigation. The issue of legal qualification of the event is currently being resolved.
Earlier in Lviv, a man attacked a serviceman of the Tax Code and hit him. After that, the offender tried to escape.
In Khmelnitsky, two men were beaten by a Labor Code employee during the verification of documents. They were arrested, they are threatened with up to 5 years in prison.
