The 2023 season was long, and this episode became the last drop that overwhelmed the bowl of patience. I had some physical problems but I still wanted to play for “red devils”.
But the coach never wanted to talk to me. I have never felt anything like this in my career. So I exploded, because I felt that he did not respect me, lost confidence in him. At that moment I realized that there was no way back.
I know that I am not the easiest character. I am a winner and can’t change myself. Sometimes we respond to emotions, and everything goes out of control. You can regret anything you want, but I think the situation with this coach has gone too far.
A lie was told before the press. When the coach said he did his best to solve the situation, it was not true. I felt the need to respond to this lie.
It’s hard to say that I change, judging by this experience. Maybe I would be different with the team and fans. Perhaps I would call some people inside to explain what I feel.
Do I continue to stay 100% myself in the future? Yes, my goal is to go to the field and show the fans that I still want to play for the national team. I hope the fans will accept me again, ” – said the Belgian artist.
