The Security Service detained another FSB agent in Cherkasy region. The traitor has adjusted the strikes of the Russian Federation on the military and energy infrastructure of the Central region of Ukraine.
According to the SBU to prepare a new series of air attacks, the invaders hoped to obtain the coordinates of radar stations of Ukrainian air defense. For this purpose, the FSB remotely recruited a 46-year-old resident who was in view of the invaders when he was looking for fast earnings on telegrams.
After recruitment, the agent began to accomplish the tasks – went around the area where he tried to identify combat positions of air defense. At the same time, he recorded the geolocation of critical energy objects of the region and recorded the consequences of enemy “arrivals” for further adjustment of the air attacks of the Russian Federation.
The SBU staff exposed the traitor in the initial stages of his intelligence and thus disrupted the plans of the racists. After the step -by -step documentation of his crimes, the agent was detained “on hot” when he conducted a reconnaissance near the military facility. The investigation also found that the agent had additionally had to set up opposite to the potential goal of a hidden webcam for remote air attacks of the Russian Federation.
When searched, a mobile phone with an anonymous chat in the messenger, which he used for contacts with the FSB, was removed from the detainee.
On the basis of the evidence collected, the investigators of the Security Service informed him of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law). The attacker is in custody. He is threatened with life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
