He notes that servicemen will be able to receive higher education without interrupting the service.
He said that the Ministry of Defense developed changes to the provisions on military service, which enabled contractants and conscripts at the age of 18-24 years to study at higher education institutions.
“For this purpose it is necessary to obtain permission from the commander of the connection or higher command. The decision is issued by order on the military unit,” – said Umerov.
He added that this is especially important for those who sign the contract “contract 18-24”.
“Such servicemen will be able not only to serve, but also to study, develop professional skills and prepare for a future career – both in the army and in civilian life,” the Minister of Defense of Ukraine said.
He notes that the project, which was developed and submitted by the Ministry of Defense, approved the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and in the near future it will be submitted for signature to the President of Ukraine.

On March 9, the press service of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces reported that the first volunteers had already taken an oath under a contract of 18-24. Warriors will serve in the 10th separate mountain-assault brigade “Edelweiss”, which is stationed in Kolomyia, in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
