Only after public discussions can legislative changes be approved by the Verkhovna Rada.

The Ministry of Finance reported that such decisions will not be made this year, and in the future the process of raising taxes will take place in public and with discussions.
“Anonymous telegram channels have spread information and clickback headlines that the Ministry of Finance is already planning to increase taxes for FOP. Such information is not true and is manipulative,” the department said.
The Ministry of Finance explained that the legislative changes in the elements of a simplified taxation system will only be processed after the preconditions for such a reform have been fulfilled – not earlier than a year of the next year, which will be considered the measures on the safety of data use and access to information on the volume and circulation of taxpayers in their accounts.
It is noted that this process will take place publicly and will require discussions with the public, business and all branches of the authorities, as well as with the involvement of international partners.
“Only after public discussions, the legislative changes will be considered and approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” the ministry said.
Update for FOP – The latest newsIn February, the Ministry of Finance approved a new form of tax calculation of the amounts of PIT and ESA, as well as updated the procedure for its filling and submission. From now on, entrepreneurs have to file a tax calculation up to the 20th of each month, not quarterly.
At the same time, in Ukraine, they have specified a list of taxes and fees, from the payment of which mobilized FOPs and persons who carry out independent professional activity are released. Thus, for the period of military service, entrepreneurs are exempted from the obligation from the personal income tax or from a single tax. A number of documents must be provided to receive the privilege.
