NYT has declared a possible retreat from the Armed Forces from almost the entire territory of Kursk. General Staff says of continuing storms

In total, 99 combat clashes took place from the beginning of the day, the Armed Forces General Staff reports in the evening summary as of 22:00.

According to the headquarters, in the Pokrovsky direction the enemy tried to move 15 times to the positions of Ukrainian units. It is twice less than the previous one was 36.

Also, Russian troops have slightly reduced their activity in Kurchyna – 13 storm actions against 19 last day.

The enemy continues its less intense attacks in Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lymansky, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Novopavlovsky, Gulyaypil and Orikhiv direction.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy did not carry out the offensive actions, but caused air strikes in Olgivka, Tokarivka and Mykolaiv.

The American newspaper The New York Times reported that Ukrainian troops probably retreated from almost the entire territory of the Kursk region of Russia. The publication reminds that in the midst of the offensive, Ukrainian troops controlled about 500 square miles of Russian territory, and by Sunday, according to Passa Parinnienne, a military analyst from the Finnish group of Black Bird Group, based in Finland, they held a narrow lane along the Russian-Ukrainian border.

US President Donald Trump, talking on March 14, about the negotiations of the US side with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that “thousands” of the Ukrainian military were allegedly in a “full and very bad and vulnerable position.”

Putin reacted on March 14 to Trump’s call, stating “that in the event of weapons and capturing them (Armed Forces servicemen – ed.) Life and decent treatment will be guaranteed in accordance with the rules of international law and the law of the Russian Federation. ”

On March 15, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian side “has a presence in the Kursk region, and statements about the environment of Ukrainian troops there are another Putin’s lies.”

Before that, Zelensky noted that the operation of the Ukrainian military in Kurchyna in Russia fulfilled its task: to delay Russian forces from other directions, in particular from the Pokrovsk Donetsk region, from Kharkiv direction and from Sumy.
