Details: The Trump administration made a number of claims to the Voice of America on Saturday, March 15. Trump used quotes of various media, which accuse the broadcaster of violating journalistic standards and constantly avoiding responsibility.

Trump stated that several Voice of America reporters were commented on Trump in their professional accounts on the social network, despite the policy of impartiality of social media.
In particular, Trump’s decision has published the following arguments:
- In 2020, Voice of America wrote about a possible Russian role in the scandal with the son of the son of the former US President Joe Biden – Hanter Baiden, who was perceived by Trump’s administration as an attempt to “hide the truth.”
- Voice of America’s leadership asked employees not to call Hamas and its members terrorists “except when official statements are cited.”
- In 2019, the broadcaster released a plot about transgender migrants looking for asylum in the United States.
On the evening of March 15, it became known that a considerable number of Voice of America staff had been sent to “administrative” leave, starting without the right to access to the mains and the work that shapes the activity of this international broadcaster.
Numerous sources of “European Truth” claim that in addition to the removal of a large number of Voice of America, Trump’s administration also reported full cancellation of funding for RFE / RL (Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty).
