According to Andrei Sibiga, Russia does not want the end of the war.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga wrote about it on Twitter (X).
He noted that Ukraine said “yes” the US ending proposals for ceasefire, “because Ukraine wants peace.” However, the head of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin instead of saying “yes”, puts different conditions.
“Ukraine seeks to end the war. Putin seeks to continue the war. The rest of his words are only a smoke curtain,” Sibiga said.
Negotiations on the end of the war in UkraineAs reported by UNIAN, according to the negotiations of Ukrainian and American delegations in Saudi Arabia, which took place on March 11, Ukraine agreed to the US proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire, if Russia goes to such a step.
Yesterday, March 13, US representatives arrived in Russia to make Moscow a similar proposal. Putin stated that he did not mind the ceasefire, but put forward a number of conditions, in particular, that Ukraine would stop the mobilization and training of servicemen, and did not receive weapons from allies.
At the same time, US President Donald Trump stressed that Putin made a promising statement, but it was incomplete. According to him, he hopes that “Russia will do the right” as a result of these negotiations.
