Lukashenko stated that the production of launchers for “Oresshnik” was established in Belarus

Belarus now produces starting installations for the ballistic missiles of the average radius of Orezhnik and awaits rockets from Russia, said Alexander Lukashenko on Thursday.

Lukashenko noted that several starting installations “We are already finishing today” and added that missiles will be needed “from his older brother”.

Lukashenko also stated that he did not plan to participate in negotiations with US representatives in Moscow, which will be held simultaneously with his visit to the Russian capital.

On March 13, Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Moscow for negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is Lukashenko’s first visit to Russia after his winner was announced in January 2025.

On January 26, during the press conference, Alexander Lukashenko stated that Russian Orezhnik missiles will arrive in Belarus in the near future and will most likely be located in the city of Orsha, Vitebsk region.

Orezhnik is a Russian rocket complex and a medium -range ballistic missile of the same name. For the first time it was publicly mentioned by Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 21, 2024 after the missile strike on the Dnieper. According to military experts, Orezhnik is a modification of the RC-26 “Rubezh” complex.
