“In the Pokrovsky direction, during this day, the aggressor has attacked our positions in areas of settlements Vodyane Second, Elizabeth, Novotoretske, Ray, Dachenkoe, Novoukrainka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Lucky, Novo Alexandrovka, Nadiyivka and Andriyivka. Six ammunition is still ongoing, ”the message reads.

The General Staff added that the fighting also lasted in Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman, Siversky, Toretsky, Novopavlovsky, Gulyaypil, Orikhiv directions.

“The forces of Ukraine’s defense continue to operate in the Kurshchyna, where our troops have reflected five enemy attacks today, nine combatants continue until now, Russian invaders have struck six aircraft, using seven managed airplanes and carried out 239 artillery shelling,” – said.

Earlier today, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky stated that the Ukrainian forces will keep defense in Kurshchyna in the Russian Federation, where they started surgery in August 2024, “as much as it will be appropriate and necessary.”

According to him, in the operating area of ​​the group of the troops “Kursk”, in the suburbs of Sudzhi and districts around it in the territory of Russia, active fighting continues.

“The enemy uses the assault units of the Airborne Troops and Special Operations forces to break our defense, the displacement of our troops from the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and the transfer of hostilities to the territory of Sumy and Kharkiv regions,” Sirsky said.

Before that, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced the promotion of Russian troops in the Kursk region.
