The Australian helped the team win their first championship among the designers in 26 years last season, scoring key points together with a team of Lando Norris team.
Towards the end of his first season, formula-1 with McLaren, Piastri continued the contract until the end of the 2026 campaign. However, the agreement was extended so that the 23-year-old racer remained in Voking team for the following seasons.

Therefore, I am very proud to continue to represent this legendary team for many more years.
I am glad to fight for big awards as a pilot McLaren, and after last year’s fantastic achievements I seek even more to stay on top.
Pastri’s signing took place a year after Norris signed a long -term continuation of the contract with the team.
