The Pechersk District Court, on the submission of the DBR, limited Petro Poroshenko to familiarization with the so -called “coal business” until April 15. He is charged with the commission of state treason and promoting the activities of terrorist organizations.
According to the DBR, investigators completed the investigation of criminal proceedings on the organization of a criminal scheme for the supply of coal from temporarily occupied territories and the assistance of terrorist organizations “LNR” and “DNR” by a group of citizens of Ukraine for a total amount of about 1.5 billion hryvnias on September 2, 2022.
At the same time, the case file (it has more than 250 volumes) was transferred to the defense party and the suspect. However, suspects, including Poroshenko, abuse their procedural rights and do not appear to familiarize with the materials of the proceedings, complained to the DBR.
After the Pechersk Court session, lawyer Ilya Novikov stated that the authorities are preparing for the elections and “plans to eliminate the leader of the opposition Petro Poroshenko from the political process” through the activation of the so -called “coal business”, the press service of the European Solidarity Party writes.
According to the lawyer, the purpose of this case is the freezing and confiscation of Poroshenko’s assets, and the binding of him to be precede – he will be forced to go there, while Zelensky will calmly conduct agitation.
It should be reminded that on February 12, the National Security and Defense Council made a decision on sanctions against the 5th President Petro Poroshenko. He is being abused by Russia.
The leader of “European Solidarity” Petro Poroshenko confirmed that on his information he was on the new sanction list, approved on February 12 at the NSDC. He called it a “tremendous blow on inner unity” and called on “to rally around the military.”
Poroshenko is preparing to challenge the Supreme Court sanctions that the NSDC against him on February 12.
The Prosecutor General’s office informed the details of criminal proceedings against well -known businessmen and former high -ranking officials, against whom the NSDC applied personal sanctions on February 12.
