In the capital of Saudi Arabia, an important meeting between delegations of Ukraine and the United States of America has been ongoing for more than four hours.
The main topic of negotiations is to find ways to achieve just and long -term peace. The negotiations are held with the participation of high -ranking officials of both countries, including US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor by US President Mike Voltz.
The Ukrainian side is represented by Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, who previously evaluated the beginning of dialogue.
During a short break, CNN journalists were able to communicate with representatives of the American delegation. When asked how negotiations are held, the US Presidential Advisor Mike Voltz answered laconically: “We are progressing.”
He did not reveal other details. Secretary of State Marco Rubio refrained from comments, quickly entering the elevator with a colleague.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Andriy Yermak noted that the negotiations began in a very constructive line. According to him, the parties intend to discuss specific steps in detail to approach peace in Ukraine.
The results of the meeting are expected to make official statements and further actions to reach the agreement. Analysts consider this meeting an important stage in the development of Ukrainian-American relations and resolving the situation in the region.
