The MK-82 bombs, accidentally released by the KF-16 fighter, fell outside the landfill, harming the civilian population, according to South Korea Air Force.
The department stated that they would create a commission that would investigate the causes of the accident and evaluate the extent of the losses caused to the civilian population.
The air forces apologized for the incident and expressed their hopes for the rapid recovery of the victims. They said they would offer compensation and take other necessary measures.

The Phochkhon Response Center reported that six civilians and two soldiers were injured. The condition of the four wounded is severe and that they are all civilians. Two of the seriously wounded are foreigners – one of Thailand and one of the meat.
Three houses, a Catholic church and a greenhouse were partially damaged, but according to power, they were not affected by bombs.
