Details: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has summoned the ambassador of Moldova Lilian Darius and in conversation with him expressed surprise that Moldova President Maya Sandu has not yet accepted the certificate of certificates from the new Russian ambassador Oleg Ozer, which delayed the official start of his work.

As emphasized in the Moldovan Foreign Ministry, the date and procedure of the ceremony are the prerogative of the receiving state.

In September 2024, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the appointment of Oleg Ozerova Ambassador of Russia to Moldova, he arrived in Chisinau in October.
In early February, Sandu confirmed that Ozer did not invite the certificate of certificates, and explained that she did not see the opportunity to do so when officials in Moscow say that “Moldova does not deserve to exist or something like that.”
