Opera has launched a Browser Operator Agent, which is capable of performing various tasks on the sites.
The demonstration roller shows the work of a digital assistant: he Finds socks on Walmart, buys football match tickets on the club’s website and is looking for a flight and hotel with Booking.
The tool will become available to users in the soon as part of the Feature Drop. It is not yet known whether the agent is able to work on almost any sites and perform wider requests like “Searching for the cheapest ticket from London to New York for tomorrow” on various resources.
Users can monitor the work of Browser Operator and at any time take the screen under personal control. According to Opera, its agent is safer than analogues because it runs on the device rather than a cloud copy of the browser or a virtual machine.
