The director, founder and creative director of the advertising agency “Cinemaragrapher” Vitaliy Kokoshko died at the age of 58. It happened on February 24 in the 72nd separate mechanized brigade. Odessa humor and cinematographic perfectionism Vitaliy Kokoshko began a professional path at the Odessa Film Studio. “Dad got into advertising through the cinema,” says the director’s daughter. In 1998, Vitaly Kokoshko founded a movie “Kinographer” at the Odessa Film Studio. “He worked at a film studio, in the agency, and then taxted to make something,” Olga recalls.

In 2001, Vitaliy and his family moved from Odessa to Kiev. He brought to advertising a combination of cinematography and humor, shared the founder and CEO of Fedoriv marketing agency Andrey Fedorov. “Vitaliy did not want to shoot just the commercials,” Fedorov says. “His works were artistic, provocative, hooligan in a good way.”

In 2005, Vitaliy Kokoshko, together with the Belarusian advertising agency Kryn, won gold at the Cannes Lions – the most prestigious creative award. In honor of this, he arranged a grand party with colleagues from the “filmgrapher”, shares Olga Kokoshko. “The agency had an office with a roof, where we were humming in the morning and greeted the sunrise,” the director’s daughter recalls.

Demanding manager and energetic mentor The first works of the moviegrapher were music videos for the band “Vopli Vidoplyasova”. Subsequently, the agency, which was perhaps the only one at that time, was focused on television advertising. Among the clients were Koblevo, Lesaffre Ukraine, PUMB, Beer Point, “Heather”, “Hello”, “Limo”, Biocodex Ukraine, Obolon, AVK, Farm, Foxtrot, Nestle Ukraine, Samsung, Bank Credit Dnipro.

“The film” became a creative laboratory in which Vitaliy Kokoshko was the center of the universe, says Andrey Fedorov. “Honest, simple, open, sincere and in love with life, he was a true representative of his generation,” says the creative. “For him, people and creativity have always been higher than formal success and corporate achievements.”

“It was always interested in him: awards, festivals, sleepless nights, billion stories, dawn on the roof,” – recalls Oleg Kiselitsa, who was a creative director of the filmgrapher and worked with Kokoshko for 10 years.

In 2014, Effie Awards Global named Vitaliy Kokoshka agency the second most effective independent agency in the world, shares the memories of the CEO of the All -Ukrainian Advertising Coalition Maxim Lazzebnik.
