On March 4, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the defeat of oil infrastructure in two regions of Russia.

In particular, it is reported that at night in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation the oil -pumping infrastructure was affected, “involved in providing the army of invaders.” On the territory of the object there are “powerful explosions and fire”.

“There is also a hit on the production facilities of the Sizran oil refining plant in the Samara region. The enemy actively counteract the means of radio electronic wrestling and air defense. The enterprise recorded a fire. In addition, there is information about powerful explosions in the area of ​​the Sohranov linear-production management of main gas pipelines in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. Detailed information on the consequences of the lesions of the objects is currently clarified, ”the message reads.

Earlier, Russian telegrams channels reported that in Syzran Samara region, drones on the night of March 4 attacked an oil refining plant, and there began a fire. Governor of Samara region Vyacheslav Fedoryshchev, reported the attack “one of the Sizran industrial enterprises”. According to him, Russian air defense was eliminated drones. There are no dead and victims.

In the Rostov region of Russia, the oil pipeline broke out due to the attack of drones – the governor of the region Yuri Slyusar said this on the evening of March 3. According to him, the staff of the object was evacuated. The outbreak was later liquidated.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that 18 Ukrainian drones were killed over Russia. According to the department, 10 drones were shot in the Rostov region, three in the Voronezh region, one at one in Kursk, Belgorod and Astrakhan regions, two more – above the territory of Samara region.

The Russian edition of ASTRA estimated that since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainian military attacked 27 fuel and energy facilities in Russia.

The Armed Forces General Staff from time to time confirms strikes on objects in the Russian Federation involved in the provision of the Russian army, and emphasize that such strikes will continue.
