This statement was made by US Finance Minister Scott Bessent in Ether Fox Bussines. He noted that all that remains is the signatures of US President Donald Trump and President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. The document must be signed on February 28.
“She (the agreement, UNIAN) is completed, it is on paper, and the Ukrainian government approved it. Tomorrow it is expected to be signed by the heads of state. It is an agreement on minerals, oil, gas and infrastructure assets,” – said Bessent.

Earlier, Financial Times wrote that Ukraine and the United States agreed on the details of the mineral treaty. It was noted that Washington abandoned the right of $ 500 billion of potential income from resource development.
The agreement provides for the creation of a fund to which Ukraine will enter 50 percent of income from the “future monetization” of state mineral resources. At the same time, security guarantees in the framework agreement are not mentioned.
