He pointed out that the Russian Federation’s plan for the rapid capture of Kiev for the fighting for Gostomel and Moshchun, influencing the further development of the military operation.
“The heart of the plan was the landing of a tactical airborne landing on a lane in Gostomel. And the planes were in the air. These are all known facts. But in the end, we destroyed these plans, together with the National Guard units, which were there at the point of permanent dislocation, took the first battles. And in the end, the conditions were made under which the Russians could not plant any aircraft there, ”Budanov said, noting that the second was a bridge, and if the Moshchun fell, the Russians would enter Kiev.
