Kubilus: A future EU assistance package should send a “very strong” signal to Ukraine

The European Commissioner for Defense Andrews Kubilus stated that the future EU assistance package should send a “very strong” signal to Ukraine.

According to him, the EU position is “very clear” because the block is committed to “peace through force.”

Kubilus hinted that the EU can offer a new package of assistance to Ukraine on Monday on Monday, because, he said, “all the opportunities that would allow us to send a very strong signal to Ukrainians and the world that we stand with Ukraine” , writes The Guardian.

He acknowledged that there were “gossip” about the numbers of a new help pack.

As reported earlier by Radio Svoboda correspondent with reference to the project of the document, the Ambassadors of the European Union in Brussels discuss Ukraine’s provision to Ukraine in the near future in 2025 additional military assistance worth 5 billion euros.

According to the document, the European Union seeks to provide one and a half million artillery ammunition of large caliber, air defense systems, high -precision missiles of long range, drones, as well as support for the restoration of the Armed Forces teams (it is about training and equipment of servicemen).
