Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 14 rockets and 161 drone, 80 UAVs shot down – air forces

The Russian soldiers on the night of February 20 made a combined blow to rockets of different types of air, ground and maritime base on objects of critical infrastructure in Kharkiv region, the Air Force of the Armed Forces reported.

Up to 14 missiles were used in total: winged-X-101/X-55cm, Caliber/Iskander-K and Ballistic Iskander-M/KN-23. “Information on the results of combat work and the consequences of the rocket strike is not made public,” – said in the Air Force.

In addition, it is reported that the Russian troops attacked Ukraine 161 by Shahed UAVs and Drones-Imitators of Other Types in the Directions: Miller, Eagle, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsky-Akhtar in the Russian Federation.

“As of 10:00, 80 shaped UAVs and drones of other types in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odessa regions were confirmed. 78 enemy imitators-locally lost (without negative consequences), ”the message reads.

As a result of the attack, Kharkiv, Sumy region, Odessa and Kyiv region were injured, in Kherson region the impact of the Russian managed airbomb was partially destroyed by the entrance of the multi -storey building, there are victims, rescue work is ongoing, the military said.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
