The Ministry of Justice registered an order to launch the support services of the military and their families, it has already undergone a legal examination. These services are intended to help fighters in civilian life.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the support services will operate in the structure of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service.
In the Armed Forces, the functions of these services will be performed by units of civil-military cooperation. They will provide the military and their families with consultations and assistance on legal, social and medical issues. In total, the support will cover about 20 support areas.
“Our defenders need to know that they and their families will not stay at the very difficult time. We create a support system that will help in all situations – to make a statement, to resolve the issues of payments, to advise on the possibility of rehabilitation after injury, will provide legal advice and psychological assistance, ” – explained Deputy Minister of Defense Sergey Melnyk.
In the framework of preparation for launching services, the first groups of specialists have already been trained. They were carried out in cooperation with volunteer organizations and civil experts.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers normalized the payments to the military who participated or participated in the military operation in the Kur Region.
Ukraine has changed the order of receiving one -time financial assistance for relatives of dead servicemen. The funds will be possible to receive within three years from the date of the court’s decision to recognize the serviceman dead.
The Cabinet of Ministers also approved a new procedure for the appointment and payment of one -time financial assistance in case of death (death) or disability of certain categories of persons in accordance with the Law “On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of their Social Protection”.
