During the last day, 129 combat clashes took place, the most hotstyle is the situation in the Pokrovsky direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the morning of February 17.

“Forty attacks were repelled by our defenders of the last day in the Pokrovsky direction. The greatest activity of hostile troops is manifested near the settlements of Vodyane Second, Elizabeth, Ray, Lisivka, Sandy, Lucky, Uspenivka, Nadivka, Oleksiyivka, Andriyivka, Dachne and Ulaki, ”the message reads.

According to the headquarters, in the Novopavlovsky direction in the areas of settlements Konstantinopil, Burlatske, Novo Oblastuvate and Novosilka, Russian troops tried to break through the defense bones of the Armed Forces 18 times.

“In the Liman direction, our troops stopped 13 enemy attacks. The main efforts of the invaders were concentrated in the areas of the settlements of Novosergiivka, Novoyegorovka, Novoplatonivka, Novoyubivka, Novok, Novomikhailivka, Yampolivka, wells and Dronovka, ”the military says.

Also, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv, Kupyansky, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Orikhiv direction.

“The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to operate in the Kursk direction, where the enemy of the last day conducted nine storms of positions of Ukrainian units, struck 51 air strike fire, ”the command reports.

According to British intelligence, under the Pokrovsky forces of the Russian Federation focuses on the cutting of the logistics lines of the Ukrainian military. On February 13, Russia announced the capture of the village of Vodyane Second, which is located east Pokrovsk and Mirnograd near the H-32 highway. “It connects Konstantinovka and Mirnograd and is an important logistics route for Ukrainian defenders,” analysts say.

Intelligence adds that the Ukrainian defense forces “are most likely to prevent the promotion of Russians to keep the main way of supply in the direction of luck, which is 12 km southwest of Pokrovsk.”
