The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of the Verkhovna Rada Danilo Getmantsev stated that he would do his best to adopt a law on the legalization of cryptocurrencies by early summer. He reported this during the New Economy event from the EP and “Limits”. Thus, the People’s Deputy reported that the first reading on the legislation of cryptocurrency should take place in the first quarter, and the second – immediately at the first vote in the Council. “We will do our best to have adopted this law at least this year,” he said: at the same time he added that there will be no preferential taxation for cryptocurrencies.
