Today, half a year of Kursk operation, our active actions in Russia – we have returned the war home, to Russia, and it is that there must be a war. And feel. Today I awarded the participants of the Kursk Operation: two guys – Heroes of Ukraine, also presented “Crosses of Merit”, Order of Ukraine. I want to thank every Ukrainian warrior, all our units involved in the Kurshchyna and which have shown the world that we can act actively, unexpectedly and effectively in conditions of limited resources. We find Russian bluff as bluff. We protect our cities – Sumy and Kharkiv. Significantly replenished the exchange fund – are hundreds and hundreds of Russian soldiers, which we exchange to return Ukrainians from captivity. We also have a captive and North Korea soldiers – now they are undergoing treatment, they were injured in battles. Serious injuries. But they are proof that Putin has drawn another state into this war – North Korea, and teaches this state to wage a modern war. This is a threat to everyone in East Asia. And I am grateful to all partners who understand how important it is to stop Russia now – now that you do not have to fight.
Once again, I will note the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine involved in Kurshchyna: soldiers of the 80th, 82nd, 95th, 22nd, 61th brigades, 36th brigade of the Marines, 17th separate tank, 47th Separate mechanized, 129th separate team of TROs, soldiers of special operations forces, warriors of the Security Service of Ukraine, all involved composition of the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. I also want to thank General Syrsk for planning the Kursk Operation. And in the diplomacy that will be and in the history that Ukrainians will write – our people, not occupiers, will reflect the importance of Kursk operation.
I also want to thank France today, personally Macron President for fulfilling our arrangements. He met with the EBRD President – she is now a visit to Ukraine. I am grateful for the support of Ukraine – the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development are aimed at many important areas. And today we talked to the EBRD, in particular, that we need to support Ukrainian displaced persons – our internal displaced persons, all who were forced to leave the house because of the war, who lost the house. It is necessary to help these people in a new place to get normal apartments or homes: this is the most important issue for millions of Ukrainian displaced persons – their home. And our partners definitely have a resource to help with it. He also set the appropriate tasks of the Minister of Finance Marchenko and the Viceremier-Minister for the restoration of Kulebe. Within two weeks, there should be a clear program – a program for supporting internal displaced persons, effective and understood by people.
