In Kherson region a man was killed in the day as a result of Russian shelling, 17 more people were injured, the regional prosecutor’s office said.

According to the investigation, on February 5, Russian troops made 30 attacks on the territory of Kherson region, using UAVs, FPV-drones and artillery.

“As of 5:30 pm, it is known about the dead man and 17 injured people – 14 civilians and three police officers,” the statement said.

The prosecutor’s office said that a 52-year-old man was killed as a result of a drone attack in Antonivka.

“17 civilians have been destroyed and damaged, including private homes and cars,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions. In particular, the army of the Russian Federation regularly attacks the de -industrial part of the Kherson region with drones, throwing off ammunition from drones on people.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
