Zelensky: US military assistance is not reduced, talk about new packages is not yet

“We do not have a decrease in US support today. It is not stopped, it continues, I am grateful to the United States. Well we don’t talk about new packages, so far early talking about it ””, – WRITE: www.radiosvoboda.org

Ukraine continues to receive military assistance from the United States, but does not talk about new packages, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on February 5.

“We do not have a decrease in US support today. It is not stopped, it continues, I am grateful to the United States. We are not talking about new packages, so far it is early to talk about it, ”the President told reporters in Kiev after meeting with the UK Foreign Minister David Lemmy.

Answering the question of Ukraine’s ability to fight without American assistance, Zelensky said that the reduction of deliveries would accurately hit the country’s defense capability. “We will be weaker, and whether we will keep (the land) – I’m not sure,” he added.

US President Donald Trump stated on February 3 that he wants to agree with Ukraine about an agreement that will provide access to the United States to Ukrainian deposits of rare earth minerals used in electronics in exchange for help that the US is provided to Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on this statement, said that Ukraine was open to investments of US companies.
