President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the UK Foreign Minister David Lammi.
The Head of State thanked the United Kingdom for all defense, financial, humanitarian and political support from the first days of full -scale Russian aggression.
“Thank you, premiere of the old man and the government. In particular, during his visit to us and the signing of a very important, historical agreement on a hundred -year partnership in different directions, ”the President stressed.
Volodymyr Zelensky and David Lamma, in particular, discussed the implementation of this Agreement, as well as other assistance formats both at the bilateral level and within multilateral mechanisms.
“This outlines our obligations to you not only for the period of this war, but also much further, relies on our military, humanitarian and economic cooperation for the benefit of our countries,” added the UK Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Separately, the Head of State noted financial assistance for the development of Ukrainian defense production, which is very important for strengthening our country’s position on the way to establishing a fair and prolonged peace.

One of the key topics of the meeting is to coordinate steps with partners and security guarantees.
The parties also discussed in detail the strengthening of sanctions against the Russian Federation, including its oil industry and the defense industry, and the use of frozen Russian assets in favor of Ukraine.
David Lamma assured that the United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine’s key partners.
“Our assessment is that Putin does not want to negotiate now. Therefore, we continue to help you as much as possible as long as you are fighting in this terrible war, and encourage other partners to do the same, ”the minister emphasized.
