The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office informs about it.
According to the investigation, the man, according to the Russian special services, performed relay cabinets of systems of alarm, centralization and blocking of Ukrzaliznytsia in Kharkiv. These cabinets ensure the safety of railway traffic and automation.
The attacker, using the scrap, broke the metal door of relay cabinets, poured electrotechnical equipment with a liquid to ignite the fire and set it on fire. He recorded his actions in photos and videos, which he then sent a representative of the Russian special service through the messenger.
It is established that the man recently arrived in Kharkiv and lived with his bride. Before that he lived in Odessa, and even earlier – in Lviv. It is known that he is already criminally liable in Odessa for the sale of narcotic drugs and served as an attempt for premeditated murder and robbery.
The Russian intelligence service has recruited it through ads on the job search site. For one arson, a man received about 9 thousand hryvnias.
In June 2024, law enforcement officers detained the attacker during the arson of the next relay cabinet of Ukrzaliznytsia. He is taken into custody without the right to make bail.
The accused will be tried in the Ordzhonikidzevsky District Court of Kharkiv. He is threatened with imprisonment for fifteen years or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.
Pre -trial investigation and operational support was carried out by the SBU in Kharkiv region.
This incident is another testimony to the criminal activity of Russian special services aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine and the task of harming critical infrastructure.
As reported by the ArmyInform, prosecutors approved and sent an indictment to the court against a 29-year-old woman on organization and assistance in illegally transporting persons across the state border of Ukraine by providing advice, instructions and elimination of obstacles committed for selfish motives.
