Yarmolyuk moved to Brentford in the summer of 2022 and gradually becomes an important part of the team. In an interview with the club press service, the Ukrainian told how a full-scale invasion began for him.

“I didn’t even think before the war. Now you look at things differently. For me everything has changed. It has changed my thinking. It changes you and what you feel. It makes you realize how happy you should be happy When there is no war in your country.

“This is a Ukrainian mentality. We will never give up, we just continue. I’m really proud of my country and really proud that I’m a Ukrainian.”

Yegor also told what difficulties he had to face when he came to England.

“I did not speak English at all, and when you do not understand anything, it’s very difficult. Language was the most important problem, but over time it was all easier and easier. I was all a lot helped me. We have a friendly team. I am happy now, but It was a big step in my life.

This season Yegor spent 22 matches in all tournaments for Brentford.
