“I do not want to breed any panic moods. However, unfortunately, there are problems. They are connected with the war and the activities of Naftogaz. I will not comment on the war, but the fact that Naftogaz manipulated information and made the wrong management decisions, essentially working on myself, not the state – I have no doubt here. Here is not only a claim to Naftogaz. This is primarily a claim to a government that simply did not predict this situation. I did not realize that there could be no management during the war due to supervisory boards, there could be no such irresponsibility. The Government has incorrectly provided the management system. Energy during the war is governed by the laws of peacetime. It is managerial stupidity and worthlessness, ”Kucherenko says.
According to him, there are real problems with gas that deepen and exacerbate due to hostile blows. However, the catastrophe, according to the People’s Deputy, is not yet.
“There will be no catastrophe. But there will be problems … It can be said that in the summer Naftogaz did not fulfill the planned tasks for the pumping of gas into storage. Why this happened – I have no answer. Another big problem is that the government has reduced Ukrainian gas production. There was no incentive to increase production with private companies. So it looks like we will have problems with gas balance. Will it close its import – let’s look, but I think there may be restrictions for consumers. But I do not want to frighten anyone, it is only my opinion, ”Alexei Kucherenko summarized.
