27% of respondents are in favor of increasing the military support of Kiev by Germany. 40% believe that Germany should continue to support the country that Russia has attacked, as it still did.
Another 27% spoke for reducing the supplies of weapons to Ukraine.
“It is noteworthy that – if you take those who want to continue Ukraine to continue to support Ukraine – we are 67%, which is a clear majority,” explained the security expert Jan Pulin from the European Council on International Relations in an interview with ZDF Frontal.
“This means that the fatigue from Ukraine, which is sometimes spoken by politicians, is not reflected in the population,” she added.
Support is greater in the West of Germany than in the East of the country: in the West 70% of people stand for weapons – 28% for greater support, 42% for helping to be the same as before.
In the East, the majority (53%) support Ukraine’s military support from Germany – 20% of the Eastern Germans are more supported, and 33% – for assisting in the same amount as before.
Among the voters of “green” is a particularly high level of approval of increasing the supply of German weapons to Ukraine. 45% of people who intend to vote for the party are more supported. Only supporters of “Alternatives for Germany” (79%) and the Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance (52%) are in favor of reducing military support.
It was reported that the number of opponents of military assistance to Ukraine increased among the Poles – 49%are performed for continuing assistance.
Recall that most Czech citizens do not express interest in the situation in Ukraine, and almost 60% of them do not approve of the Czech government’s actions to support the state in protecting against full -scale Russian aggression.
