Investigators found that a 29-year-old soldier in one of the Odessa district centers has been distributing information to their acquaintances about the opportunity to influence RTC and JV officials, helping the military to avoid mobilization for cash.

Law enforcement officers documented how the military promised two men to remove the status of “wanted”. The Odessa service cost $ 500, and the resident of the region – twice as much.

The police detained the person involved in receiving a bribe. Money, telephone, documents were seized.

He was informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely: in obtaining an illegal benefit for influencing a decision by a person authorized to perform the functions of the state, combined with demanding of undue benefit.

The court chose him a preventive measure – detention with the possibility of collateral at 242 240 UAH.

The person faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
