The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine disagrees with the statements of Polish President Andrzej Duda that after the war in Ukraine, the demobilization of the Armed Forces can lead to an explosion of international organized crime.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports about it.
The department noted that Kyiv is grateful to Poland for the large -scale assistance provided to Ukraine, as well as President Andrzej Dudi – for consistent promotion of Ukraine’s interests and calls for partners to increase our country’s support.
“At the same time, we disagree with the representation of Ukrainian soldiers who are risking life today, protecting Europe from the Russian invasion, as if a potential threat to European security,” the Foreign Ministry said.
They recalled that after 2014, when hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians had already passed through the front, no significant increase in crime or threats to Poland or Europe was observed.
In addition, since the first years of Russian aggression, Ukraine has been paying priority to the adaptation, socialization and integration of warriors and counts on further assistance to partners in this important business.
“Ukrainian soldiers and veterans are not a threat, but a factor in security for Ukraine, Poland and all of Europe. They are the key to a free and stable European future. We are convinced that the courageous Ukrainian men and women who stood up for their country and the world from Russian invaders deserve the highest respect, ”the Foreign Ministry noted.
We will remind, the President of Poland Andrzej Duda concerned with the possible completion of hostilities between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. He is afraid that the organized crime will overturn across the border from Ukraine to Poland, also affecting Western Europe and the United States.
Earlier, we wrote about the article in The Guardian, which was told about the “crisis of desertion” in the Armed Forces.
