Straight language: “The head reported to modernize our army – an appropriate plan for the transition to the new organizational structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the creation of corps was already approved.
We have discussed today approaches to the appointment of corps commanders: these should be the most prepared, most promising officers with combat experience and modern thinking. The army should be modern. And most importantly – to appreciate people. The relevant decisions will be made public. ”
Details: The Head of State also reported that he was bet on Monday. It referred to energy, protection of the power system. According to Zelensky, the Russians strike and make their blows under the ability of Ukrainian protection.
That preceded:
- The Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Alexander Sirsky, announced on Monday the beginning of implementation of measures to move to the corps structure.
- In November, several publications, citing sources in the Armed Forces, wrote that in the Armed Forces of Ukraine they would present the concept of reform, according to which the Ukrainian army will switch to the Corps Brigade system.
- It was noted that such a system will significantly save human and material resources.
