Since the beginning of the day, more than 70 combat clashes have taken place between Ukrainian defenders and Russian invaders. This is evidenced by the prompt information as of 16.00 on February 1, published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“There were 71 fighting on the front. Our defenders stop the enemy, keep the borders and destroy the plans of the Russians. At the same time, the occupiers continue to focus their efforts on Pokrovsky, Kupyansk, Liman directions and in Kurshchyna, ”the message reads.
In addition, hostile artillery shellings continue to endure Ukrainian border cities and villages.
In particular, the settlements of the Iron Bridge and Mykolaivka in the Chernihiv region, as well as a farmer in Sumy region, were injured today.
In Kupyansk direction From the beginning of the day, the enemy made 15 attempts to move to our positions in the areas of Poplar settlements, two -year, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novosilka, Glushkivka, Zhizovo and Lozova. Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks, four municipalities are ongoing.
Aggressor 12 times attacked the positions of our troops in the estuary direction Near Novoyogorovka, Ternov, Yampolivka, wells, Tornsky and in the direction of Novomikhailivka. There are currently four combatants. The enemy aviation struck uncontrollable rockets on the green grove.
In the Siversky direction The units of the Defense Forces have repelled three attacks of enemy troops near Verkhnamansky and Bigorivka, one combatance is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction Our defenders repelled two invaders’ attacks. Three combatants continue. The invading units are active in the area of the time ravine and the White Mountain.
In the Toretsky direction The enemy tried five times to go in the area of Toretsk. There are currently two combatants.
The enemy’s activity is currently stored and on Pokrovsky direction. Twenty -twice today there have been a collision of varying intensity. Ukrainian soldiers reflect enemy attacks in the areas of green field, Elizabeth, beam, beast, lucky, Uspenivka, Novoalexandrovka, Silver and Subc. Eight more combatants are currently ongoing.
The occupiers once tried to break through in the direction of Constantinople in the Novopavlovsky directionwere stopped by our defenders.
In the Gulyaypil direction The aggressor attacked the positions of our defenders in the Novosilka area, and was repelled.
In the Orikhiv direction There are two battles in the Shcherbak and Nesterian.
In Kharkiv and Prydniprovsky directions Since the beginning of the day, the enemy did not take an active action.
In Kurshchyna Ukrainian defenders have repelled three attacks of invaders, one combatant continues. In addition, the enemy caused seven aviation blows using nine managed bombs.
