The main damage is the window windows and the shifted carpentry. Among the affected objects are two monuments of national importance: Philharmonic (New Exchange), Vuchini House (19 Italian St., 19).
Two museums were injured: the Museum of Western and Oriental Art and the Branch of the Literary Museum (Sikar House).
Significant damage was underwear and authentic carpentry filling large windows with a semicircular completion in the buildings of the Union of Architects of Ukraine and the Porto-Franco Bank.
The most valuable architectural and social point of view among damaged buildings is the Philharmonic (New Exchange). The explosive wave knocked out the authentic joinery filling of the main front entrance, damaged stained glass windows and interior decoration. The effect of attack on the state of the main structures will be evaluated by specialists after additional examination.
Since 2023, the Philharmonic building has been intense UNESCO’s defense in accordance with the Second Protocol of 1999 to the 1954 Hague Convention on the Protection of Cultural Property in the event of Armed Conflict.
