US President Donald Trump said on Friday that his administration had already held “very serious” discussions with Russia on its war in Ukraine, and that he and the Russian Pavnia Vladimir Putin can soon take “significant” measures to stop the ongoing war.

Details: Trump did not say who from his administration was in contact with the Russians, but convinced that both sides were “talking.”
When asked if he spoke directly with Putin, Trump answered restrained, “I don’t want to say that.”

Earlier, Trump once again promised to end the war in Ukraine and instructed after the inauguration to organize a call to the ruler of Russia Vladimir Putin in order to agree with him.
Trump confirmed plans to meet with Russian leader Putin to complete Russia’s full -scale war against Ukraine.
The day before, the US President demanded that Russia “conclude an agreement” to end the war in Ukraine, promising, otherwise, strengthening sanctions and tariffs against Moscow.
He also said that the reduction of oil prices would be sought to end the war.
