The hometown of children – Inna and Anton was occupied in 2014. They were brought up by a grandmother because the father was killed and the mother was deprived of parental rights. After the start of a full -scale invasion of the grandmother decided that they needed to leave their hometown, where it became more dangerous. Due to the fact that it was unable to reach the territory controlled by Ukraine immediately, the family went to relatives in Russia. However, they continued to look for the way of returning to their homeland, where their uncle was waiting for their children.
“Today, children are finally home, in their home country. I am grateful to the experts of the Ukrainian network for the rights of the child for organizing this rescue mission,” the post reads.
