The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) put forward the president of the organization Andriy Shevchenko as a candidate for members of the UEFA Executive Committee.

The decision was made today at a meeting of the executive committee of the UAF. Shevchenko will apply for one of two positions at the UEFA Executive Committee with a two -year term of office.
Also, the executive committee chose delegates from the UAF for the 49th UEFA Congress, which will take place on April 3, 2025 in Belgrade (Serbia). They were Andrey Shevchenko, Vice president of UAF Alexander Shevchenko and UAF Secretary General Igor Gryshchenko.
We will remind, Shevchenko headed the UAF in January 2024, replacing Andrew Pavelka, who was a member of the UEFA Executive Committee in 2019-2024.
