The rise in price is due to the reduction of the supply of these products on the market, according to the message. Now beet prices in Ukraine are already 35% higher than in the same period last year. Advertising: market participants do not rule out that prices can be a temporary phenomenon. In their view, further rise in prices can motivate farmers to start sales of beets from repositories, which will lead to an increase in supply and, as a consequence, to a decrease in prices in this segment. Recall that at the end of January the cost of white cabbage (34-40 UAH/kg) in Ukraine is 15% higher than a week earlier. Thus, cabbage remains the most expensive vegetable among the whole borsch set in Ukraine.
