The package is expected, among other things, will strengthen Ukraine’s long -range opportunities, as it provides about 1 billion Swedish crowns in support of Ukrainian production of long -range missiles and drones.
“The package is divided into eight components, the largest of which consists of a variety of purchases of new equipment – especially in Swedish and other European defense industries – for the purpose of transferring Ukraine,” the statement reads.

The government specifies that the package includes the following components:
- Purchasing military equipment for the Armed Forces worth about 5.9 billion Swedish crowns
- Financial assistance worth about 2.8 billion Swedish crowns, which will donate to the purchases of equipment, including because of defense capabilities
- Transfer of material from Sweden’s armed forces with appropriate purchases for replacement of about 3.3 billion kroons. In particular, it is planned to transfer 146 trucks, 16 combat boats, 23 units of weapons, ammunition, 1,500 anti -tank missiles Tow, 200 units of anti -tank weapons, infantry equipment and protective equipment
- Selection of about 180 million crowns for services through the Swedish Defense Research Agency and the Swedish University of Defense
- About 650 million crowns for Ukrainian military training
- 400 million crowns for serving previously provided Swedish equipment
The Swedish government added that Ukraine’s military assistance is always based on its needs and priorities.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov commented on the information package, stressed that the equivalent of $ 178 million will go to the Danish model to support the production of weapons by the Ukrainian IOPC.

According to the Swedish government, in general, Stockholm provided military assistance to Ukraine for 61.9 billion crowns during a full -scale invasion (about $ 5.6 billion).
