The Ukrainian side stated that the dedication of the development of good relations with all international partners who support Ukraine against the backdrop of full -scale Russian aggression.
Deputy Foreign Minister Oleksandr Mishchenko expressed a deep disappointment by the fact that Prime Minister Robert Fitzo actually relays Kremlin rhetoric, ignoring European principles and acting contrary to the position of the European Union.

He stressed that such statements and actions of Slovak authorities are unacceptable, especially in the conditions of Russian aggression against Ukraine. Not only do they harm traditionally good relations between Kiev and Bratislava, but also undermine the unity of the EU and the Euro-Atlantic community in counteracting the aggressor state.
Ukraine has condemned the attempts of the Slovak government to maintain dependence on Russian energy, which is contrary to the EU’s common policy on energy security.
Official Bratislava was called upon to end this practice and return to constructive dialogue. At the same time, Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Slovak people for their support in the fight against Russian aggression.
