“Terrible Russian Crime” – Zelensky about a blow to Sumy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to the families of four people who were killed as a result of Russian military air attack on a high -rise building in Sumy. Nine more people, among whom the child, were injured, rescue work is still underway, and the Head of State noted on the morning of January 30.

“A terrible tragedy, a terrible Russian crime. It is very important that the world does not pause in pressure on Russia for this terror. And I am grateful to all the leaders who are supporting Ukraine, Ukrainians, ”the Head of State wrote in a telegram.

On the night of January 30, local authorities reported that in Sumy the drone hit a multi -storey building.

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
