At the same time, he tries to take over the powers of the mayor, the city council and the KSCA, violating the law. I remind you that the military administration is a temporary body that should be defense and security, not usurpation of power, ”Vitaliy Klitschko said.

“The people of Kiev chose the mayor of the city in which they live. And I will continue to defend their interests, ” – said the mayor, asking” the President as a guarantor of the Constitution to prevent the destruction of local self -government. ”

On December 31, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Sergiy Poko from the post of chief of the Kyiv City Military Administration, appointing Timur Tkachenko instead.

Tkachenko previously worked as Deputy Minister for Strategic Industry, and before that he was the director of the Kyiv Territorial Control Department.
